## Resource

Garth Brooks dropped a wild surprise in Denver, rocking a secret club show under his old alias Yukon Jack—playing 16 hits for 2,000 fans right before his big arena tour kicked off. The persona, born in 1993 when he needed to sneak a gig in New Mexico without blowing his fame sky-high, nods to his hometown (Yukon, OK) and maybe studio producers (“Jack”). It’s not the first time country stars have pulled this stunt—think Hank Williams as Luke the Drifter or Granger Smith as Earl Dibbles Jr.—a fun way to shake things up and connect deeper with fans. After Denver, he’s headed to Chicago, D.C., and Orlando, making this little throwback part of a bigger plan to keep the magic fresh.
