## Resource

Kid Cudi stands by his decision to perform at Kanye West’s Chicago show, defending his loyalty despite backlash. He highlights two decades of friendship and artistic partnership, arguing that only those with deep personal ties can truly grasp the complexity of their bond. Cudi acknowledges Kanye’s past struggles — especially mental health and antisemitic remarks — but praises his recent progress and sincere apology. He admits to holding Kanye accountable and says their current conversations feel more honest than ever. While Kanye’s controversial actions have sparked outrage, Cudi believes forgiveness shouldn’t come at the cost of loyalty — especially when the person has shown genuine remorse and is rebuilding. The Chicago show, packed with stars like Travis Scott and Common, symbolizes Kanye’s ongoing comeback tour, and Cudi remains committed to supporting his friend through the healing process.
