## Resource

Carrie Underwood stunned fans at the Velocity Festival in Iowa by dropping a high-energy set of nu-metal covers, channeling the late 90s with Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Papa Roach — even donning a backward cap for the Limp Bizkit finale. While she sang around explicit lyrics on “Break Stuff,” the crowd embraced the unexpected rock twist, sparking heated online debates. The festival, now a three-day event at the legendary Field of Dreams, showcases a bold, genre-blending lineup that perfectly suits Carrie’s surprising musical versatility — from her past collaborations with Guns N’ Roses and Mötley Crüe to her iconic American Idol farewell performance of “Home Sweet Home.” This isn’t a one-off stunt — it’s Carrie fully owning her rock roots, proving she’s unafraid to shake things up.
