## Resource

This episode covers two distinct criminal investigations involving parents and predators. The first segment focuses on the unexplained disappearance of two-year-old Sky Metalwala, whose mother, Julia Birakova, has refused to cooperate with the police. Investigators highlight significant inconsistencies in her story, noting that her claims of car trouble were proven false by mechanical inspections. The second report follows Elizabeth Smart as she interviews a survivor of Mark Winner, a Chicago tanning salon owner accused of multiple sexual assaults. Despite facing several rape charges, the sources show Winner remained free on bond, prompting a confrontation at his residence. Both stories emphasize the pursuit of justice and the critical role of victim advocacy in long-standing criminal cases.
