## Resource

The episode details the 2018 murder of Shanti Cooper-Tronis, a successful Florida businesswoman who was found dead in her home. Her husband, David Tronis, initially reported the incident as an accidental bathtub fall, but investigators uncovered a brutal physical assault inconsistent with his claims. The narrative follows the police investigation, which revealed David’s secret double life, his obsession with a costly home renovation, and his attempt to hide bloody evidence. Prosecutors eventually established a motive centered on financial gain and marital tension, leading to a first-degree murder conviction. The account concludes with David receiving a life sentence and Shanti's family finding a sense of justice after years of legal delays.
