## Resource

The episode outlines the complex personal history and tragic passing of Mica Miller, whose life and marriages are the focus of a Netflix docuseries. It details her initial marriage to Jeremy Deas and the subsequent extramarital affair with her pastor, John Paul Miller, which eventually led to her second marriage. While John Paul maintains their relationship was positive, the source highlights serious allegations of abuse and control raised by Mica’s family and her own legal filings. Following her death by suicide in 2024, the narrative explores the divergent paths of her two husbands, noting Deas's continued ministry work and the federal cyberstalking charges currently facing John Paul. Ultimately, the episode serves as an overview of the legal and emotional aftermath surrounding a high-profile case of pastoral misconduct and domestic tragedy.
