## Resource

In this edition of Morning Manna, Rick Wiles and Doc Burkhart examine Proverbs 29:24–26 and the powerful grip the fear of man can have on our decisions. Solomon begins with a man who knows the truth but refuses to speak, then reveals what may be keeping him silent: “The fear of man bringeth a snare.” Fear of rejection, retaliation, or disapproval can trap our speech, compromise our obedience, and steal our peace. Yet Solomon provides the way out: “whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.” The lesson concludes by asking whose judgment ultimately matters. Many seek the approval of people in positions of influence, but Scripture reminds us that “every man's judgment cometh from the LORD.” Freedom begins when we stop living for the approval of people and remember whose verdict finally counts.
