## Resource

Concordia’s golf teams are back after a three-year absence, resurrected by relentless student-athletes who fundraised and rebuilt the program from scratch. Facing initial funding roadblocks, determined players like Sacha Riverin-Cholewicki rallied university officials and local golf connections to secure support — even launching their own tournament. With a grueling summer training schedule and just three tournaments in five weeks, the athletes push hard, using simulators and personal courses to prep for August and September. Veteran coach Joel Fitleberg, returning on a volunteer basis, credits the student captains for driving the revival. In their debut, men tied for fourth and women took third — close to nationals but focused on building toward future glory.
