## Resource

Canada’s Conservative Party is under fire for its cozy ties to Germany’s far-right AfD, as MPs like Leslyn Lewis and Dean Allison have met with AfD leaders — and Alberta’s Bruce McAllister openly celebrated their election win, fueling accusations of anti-immigrant extremism. With Pierre Poilievre steering the party further right on immigration and xenophobia, his silence on the AfD’s victory speaks volumes — especially as Canada faces rising hate crimes and an upcoming immigration referendum.
