## Resource

Arber Xhekaj is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract with the Montreal Canadiens before training camp, cementing his role as a physical cornerstone for the young team. Known for his punishing style, 6’4”, 240-pound presence, and playoff contributions, Xhekaj led the Canadiens in hits last season while adding offense and grit. With key signings like Chris Kreider and coach Martin St. Louis already locked in, securing Xhekaj’s future signals a major step toward building a competitive core for the upcoming season.
