## Resource

The Edmonton Oilers are eyeing a trade for Kirby Dach of the Canadiens, who just signed a one-year, $3.6M deal but may still be available. With limited cap space left and a focus on defense, adding a young, offensive spark like Dach — who could slot beside McDavid and Draisaitl — makes sense. His health remains a concern, but if he stays on the ice, he could deliver 40+ points. Bonus: he’s Colton Dach’s brother, a former Oilers fan who just signed with the team. Edmonton’s also scouting other young forwards like Sörum and Poitras, betting on future upside over veteran experience.
