## Resource

Chris Kreider, after 13 seasons with the Rangers and a standout year with the Ducks, is heading to Montreal on a one-year deal worth $2.15M — poised to ignite the Canadiens’ push for a Stanley Cup in 2026-27. His scoring punch and playoff grit make him a perfect fit for a team that fell just short last year, but his past collision with Carey Price in 2014 adds a layer of history. Still, Kreider’s 22 goals and 28 assists last season prove he’s still elite — and ready to help the Habs finish what they started.
