## Resource

Montreal Canadiens are hot on the trail of Columbus Blue Jackets’ Kirill Marchenko, eyeing him as their top offseason target to upgrade their forward corps. With a deep prospect pool, valuable draft picks, and cap space, the Habs are poised to make a bold move—possibly even trading a defenseman—to land the Russian winger, who’s entering his final contract year and averaging nearly a point per game. While Columbus maintains control over the situation, talks are heating up ahead of training camp, making this one of the summer’s most anticipated deals.
