## Resource

Montreal Canadiens are quietly building a real contender, anchored by Suzuki, Caufield, and Slafkovsky, but they’re missing that crucial top-six center. Instead of a flashy trade, they’re eyeing two intriguing options: proven scorer Marchenko or high-upside prospect Wright. Marchenko’s ready to score, but he’s not a center — and Montreal’s got plenty of wingers. Wright’s the perfect fit for their young core, but he’s still a work in progress. The real question? Can they get either without overpaying — or should they just let their current roster develop into the solution they need?
