## Resource

The Canadiens are reloading with Chris Kreider joining the roster, giving Coach St-Louis unprecedented forward depth and signaling a cultural shift. GM Kent Hughes locked in Arber Xhekaj on a one-year prove-it deal and inked Alex Newhook to a four-year, $5.5M extension, cementing their belief in his future. With 57 players set to compete at training camp — 33 forwards, 18 defensemen, 6 goalies — the battle for spots is heating up. Meanwhile, other teams like the Devils, Hurricanes, and Avalanche are also finalizing rosters, setting the stage for a fiercely competitive season across the league.
