## Resource

Vermont’s Lieutenant Governor John Rodgers is paying a reduced $2,500 fine after a regulatory oversight involving unreported cannabis plants—blaming his son’s error and demanding hours juggling multiple roles. Regulators stress accurate location data for safety and compliance, while Rodgers insists the young, low-THC plants were never meant to hide anything. The full settlement terms remain private, but this minor hiccup may spark debate over fair penalties in state cannabis oversight.
