## Resource

Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom is set to transform the former Sterling College campus into a community-driven hub—Headwaters Community Trust has won the bid to buy the 165-acre site, aiming to close by year’s end. Born from local housing needs, the group plans to blend affordable housing with educational and childcare opportunities, inviting residents to shape every detail. After outbidding one other contender, they’re already eyeing a childcare provider for a dorm—and promise transparency as they chart the campus’s next chapter.
