## Resource

If you’re planning to hit Route 7 in Vermont for fall foliage, brace yourself—starting this Saturday, a 10-mile stretch between exits 2 and 3 in Bennington County will be closed for two weeks as crews replace critical culverts under the road. All traffic north and south will be rerouted onto congested old Route 7A, where state police are warning drivers to stay calm, drive defensively, and avoid aggressive moves that could cause gridlock. With over $2 million invested and work running around the clock, crews aim to finish by early October—so expect delays and detours if you’re heading through that area.
