## Resource

Montpelier’s Kate McCann, a Democrat and math teacher turned lawmaker, is eyeing the Speaker of the House race after current Speaker Jill Krowinski stepped down. McCann, who won’t make a final decision soon, says she wants to lead with a fresh approach focused on everyday Vermonters — drawing on her classroom leadership experience. She’s already in talks with colleagues as she weighs the role, joining a growing field that includes fellow Democrats Lori Houghton and Charlie Kimbell, plus Republican Gina Galfetti. Her potential run could reshape the upcoming speaker race. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
