## Resource

A steel beam from Ground Zero, untouched and raw since 9/11, has arrived at Currier’s Market in Glover, Vermont — a poignant tribute for the 25th anniversary of the attacks. Gifted to the mother of local Fire Chief Philip Brooks by a grateful New York City fire lieutenant, this beam was never cleaned, preserving its haunting history. Now on display at the market — a “full circle” moment for owner Raymond Sweeney — it’s set to find its permanent home at the Glover Fire Station, while Chief Brooks continues bringing it to events so communities can feel its weight and remember.
