## Resource

A beloved basketball court in Upper Graniteville is gone, sparking outrage among residents who say it was their kids’ only real playground — and the town’s survey to gauge support went unanswered. With a crumbling foundation and steep rebuild costs, officials say a full court isn’t feasible, but they’re open to community-led solutions like a half-court or clay court. Residents are rallying, raising funds, and proving they’re ready to take charge — and officials are listening, praising their passion and willingness to collaborate.
