## Resource

The Reds are weighing a bold move: trading for Minnesota’s Ryan Jeffers, a hot-hitting catcher with elite offensive stats. While Jeffers could be a game-changer offensively, his price tag might be too steep for Cincinnati’s budget-conscious offseason. Current options Tyler Stephenson and Jose Trevino each have drawbacks—Stephenson is a free agent after this season, Trevino’s future is uncertain. With other roster holes demanding attention, the Reds must balance upgrading behind the plate without creating new problems. It’s a high-stakes decision that could define their 2027 outlook.
