## Resource

Shohei Ohtani could return to the Dodgers’ lineup as early as Monday, feeling better after swinging in the cage despite lingering knee and biceps issues—but don’t expect him on the mound this season, with postseason pitching odds looking slim. Meanwhile, Dalton Rushing is back on the IL with his elbow, skipping throwing drills for now. Edwin Diaz made his first rehab appearance, pitching scoreless but with control woes—more outings needed before a big-league return. And get ready for Emmet Sheehan: he’s being called up to pitch Monday against the Reds, having earned Pitcher of the Month honors for August and poised to bolster the rotation.
