## Resource

Cristian Javier, back from Tommy John surgery, dominated Friday night with five innings, one hit (a homer), eight strikeouts, and 19 swinging strikes — his best outing since the procedure. The Astros cruised to a 3-1 win, extending their winning streak to seven of nine games and climbing to 4 games over .500. Josh Hader added his 250th career save, striking out all three batters in the ninth. Yainer Diaz homered, Paredes doubled in a run, and Altuve drove in another with a sacrifice fly, giving Javier the cushion he needed. This performance signals a major turnaround for Javier and a crucial boost for Houston’s pitching rotation as the season winds down.
