## Resource

Kyle Higashioka’s rehab assignment offers hope for the Rangers, but his ability to return as a catcher remains uncertain after a right flexor strain sidelined Mitch Garver before surgery. If he can’t catch, it’ll pile on DH competition with Danny Jansen and Elias Diaz already in the mix — forcing the team to juggle lineup roles. Meanwhile, top prospect Caden Scarborough’s four-to-six-week elbow injury sidelines him from the Arizona Fall League, a major setback for a pitcher who dominated in his first pro season. On the bright side, Cal Quantrill has been lights-out since Jack Leiter’s injury, posting a 1.25 ERA over 43 innings in his last eight outings — a crucial boost for a struggling rotation.
