## Resource

The Diamondbacks are in a slump, scoring just four runs in their last four games and teetering on losing another series — their first since late August. To spark things, they’ve dropped star Corbin Carroll to fifth in the lineup, hoping to reignite his bat after a brutal stretch where he’s gone hitless since September and struck out often. Despite his recent struggles — batting under .240 and struggling to reach base — Carroll remains a key piece: nearly on pace for 20 homers and leading MLB in triples. With Arizona just half a game behind the final wild card spot, this lineup tweak is a high-stakes gamble to get Carroll back on track and turn the team’s season around before it’s too late.
