## Resource

Cale Makar’s record eight-year contract is sparking debate across the league, with teams and players alike wondering if it sets a new standard — especially for stars like Quinn Hughes. But here’s the catch: paying top dollar for long-term commitments isn’t just about chasing glory; it’s about roster balance and cap math. Minnesota can’t afford to pay both Hughes and Kaprizov $20M each, and Colorado faces the same crunch down the road. And get this — no Cup-winning team has ever had a player earning over $10M. The future belongs to smart, balanced rosters, not superstar stacks. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
