## Resource

The Vikings’ QB battle is heating up — and it’s not Kyler Murray’s race to win. Early camp reports show J.J. McCarthy outpacing Murray in grasp of Kevin O’Connell’s offense, thanks to prior experience and quicker adaptability. Murray, still learning the playbook after a seven-year Cardinals run, shows signs of rust. McCarthy’s early command and chemistry with receivers are making this a real competition — not a foregone conclusion. Even former Viking Adam Thielen’s recent confidence in Murray is being challenged. Both QBs will get equal reps as O’Connell evaluates who truly fits the system.
