## Resource

The Vikings are pivoting at QB, naming Kyler Murray the starter and signaling JJ McCarthy’s exit—once seen as the franchise QB, he’s now trade bait with little leverage. With Murray officially captain and McCarthy relegated to depth, the team’s move underscores faith in Murray over McCarthy, despite earlier hopes for the rookie’s development. A trade could fetch a second-round pick or less, and pairing Murray with Carson Wentz may reduce drama. It’s a tough admission that their high draft pick didn’t deliver, but the coaching staff is clearly betting on Murray to lead them this season.
