## Resource

Jermar Jefferson’s preseason facemask penalty cost him $5,583—and his entire season. After being waived with an injury designation and placed on injured reserve, the Vikings’ top rushing threat for the year is sidelined before kickoff. While other players from the same game escaped fines despite penalties, Jefferson’s costly mistake not only landed him a financial hit but also derailed his 2024 campaign.
