## Resource

Harrison Smith, Minnesota’s defensive legend, is back for his 15th season with the Vikings on a contract that sparked debate—but the numbers tell a smarter story: a $6.95M signing bonus, minimal base salary, and massive upside tied to performance and playoff success. With up to $8M guaranteed and $4M in per-game bonuses plus $4M in playoff incentives, the deal rewards leadership over stats. The Vikings, hungry for their first playoff win since 2019, see him as the glue that elevates everyone around him—and this contract says they’re willing to bet on his impact one more time.
