## Resource

Harrison Smith is returning to the Minnesota Vikings for one more season, defying retirement rumors and signing a lucrative one-year deal worth $12.25M with potential bonuses up to $16.25M. His comeback brings much-needed stability to a shaky secondary, especially after his contract was terminated last offseason amid speculation he’d hang up his cleats. With 39 interceptions and 21.5 sacks — placing him among just six DBs in NFL history to reach 35 INTs and 20 sacks — Smith’s return signals elite-level play and a major boost for the Vikings’ defense heading into the new season.
