## Resource

The Minnesota Timberwolves are shaking up their roster for 2026-27 with a blockbuster trade bringing in LaMelo Ball — a dynamic playmaker who’ll ease Anthony Edwards’ offensive burden. In exchange, they’re saying goodbye to Naz Reid and surrendering future draft assets, betting big on Ball’s ability to elevate the team’s ceiling. With Jaden McDaniels evolving into a more dangerous scorer, Jonathan Kuminga adding athleticism, and Rudy Gobert anchoring defense, this new lineup blends scoring, playmaking, and rim protection. The key challenge? Consistent shooting without Reid and with DiVincenzo sidelined. If the pieces click, Minnesota could be a top-four Western Conference contender ready to make noise in the playoffs.
