## Resource

The Minnesota Timberwolves are rolling with a surprisingly guard-heavy starting five this season, featuring LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, and Ayo Dosunmu at the backcourt, paired with Jaden McDaniels at power forward and Rudy Gobert at center. With McDaniels tipping the scales at just 185 pounds, the team’s frontcourt lacks traditional size, raising serious questions about their ability to match up against bigger opponents. While Ball’s 6’7” frame offers defensive versatility, his offensive game doesn’t fit the wing role, leaving the Wolves relying on a trio of guards and hoping McDaniels can hold his own. With few bench options to add size and no clear path to a true power forward, this lineup is a bold gamble — and it’ll be fascinating to see if it holds up come game time.
