## Resource

The Minnesota Timberwolves are doubling down on defense even with LaMelo Ball’s arrival, banking on Rudy Gobert’s rim-protecting dominance and Jaden McDaniels’ perimeter shutdown ability to anchor a top-10 unit. New additions like Jonathan Kuminga—agile, disruptive, and a better switch defender than Randle or Reid—and Anthony Edwards’ guard-lockdown skills add depth and versatility. Even LaMelo brings defensive energy, while Ayo Dosunmu and Joan Beringer fill gaps when Gobert rests. With this revamped, more flexible defense, the Wolves aren’t just staying elite—they’re poised to elevate their game this season.
