## Resource

Terrence Shannon Jr. is at a pivotal moment with the Timberwolves, where his defensive growth could be his biggest asset. Despite offensive flashes, he’s being used as a teaching tool for how to guard perimeter players — a surprising nod given his past struggles on that end. Coaches see his physical tools and tenacity, but warn he needs to cut down on mental errors. With a stacked roster, Shannon’s path to more minutes hinges on becoming a reliable defender while keeping his shooting efficiency intact — defense might just be his breakout play.
