## Resource

Jonathan Kuminga’s NBA future just got a big twist—he’s officially signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a two-year, $13M deal with a player option, betting his value on next year’s free agency. Despite better offers from the Lakers and Cavaliers, Kuminga chose Minnesota for a strategic leap: prove himself now, cash in bigger later. The Wolves built flexibility into the contract, knowing this might be a one-year gamble. With Edwards and Gobert already in place, Kuminga’s role as a starter is set—but how he performs will determine if this move pays off—or if he’ll walk away before the season ends.
