## Resource

Jonathan Kuminga’s big move to the Minnesota Timberwolves signals a new chapter in his career, signing a two-year, $12.4M deal after Atlanta declined his option. With teams like the Lakers and Cavs falling short of his $20M+ demands, Minnesota offered him a starting role on a playoff-contending squad with a winning culture — something Kuminga says he wants to build his legacy around. His athleticism, rim-finishing, and defensive versatility make him a perfect fit alongside point guard LaMelo Ball, who can create easy buckets for him. The Wolves also traded Julius Randle to clear cap space for Ayo Dosunmu, making Kuminga’s transition even more critical as depth and defense become vital. With a brutal Western Conference ahead, this season is a make-or-break moment for Minnesota to prove they’re ready to compete at the highest level.
