## Resource

The Minnesota Timberwolves are reloading for the season with LaMelo Ball and Jonathan Kuminga as new starters, a move set in motion before Donte DiVincenzo’s injury. Kuminga, thrilled to join forces with Rudy Gobert, sees the veteran shot-blocker as the perfect defensive safety net to let him attack more aggressively — and both players stand to grow. Gobert’s dominance in the paint pairs beautifully with Kuminga’s speed and passing disruption, turning Minnesota’s already elite defense into an even more formidable force. With a system built for defense under Chris Finch and key perimeter contributors like Edwards and McDaniels, the Wolves are poised to be a top-tier defensive team — and Kuminga’s past impact on team defense suggests he’s a perfect fit.
