## Resource

The Timberwolves pulled off a major coup by landing Jonathan Kuminga, thanks to relentless persuasion from Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball—Edwards practically made him feel like a homegrown star, while Ball took an active role in building the roster. Kuminga signed a two-year, $12.4M deal with a player option, slotting into a loaded starting lineup alongside Ball, Edwards, McDaniels, and Gobert. His strengths—aggression, defense, transition play—are exactly what Minnesota needs, especially after seeing his playoff explosion. The team’s confidence hinges on unlocking his consistency through chemistry and trust, with Edwards and Ball leading the charge to make him a nightly difference-maker.
