## Resource

A man who sprayed Congresswoman Ilhan Omar with apple cider vinegar at a Minneapolis town hall in January 2026 is set to face sentencing this Thursday. James Kazmierczak, who admitted to the act and was tackled on camera, faces up to 14 months in prison. Despite the shocking incident, Rep. Omar stayed to finish the event — refusing to let it derail her duties. The case is part of Operation Metro Surge, and the court’s decision could set a precedent for how public figures handle such disruptions.
