## Resource

Emmanuel Rodriguez stunned the crowd with a game-opening homer in his very first at-bat, launching a fastball deep into the bullpen to ignite a four-run inning and spark the Twins to a 4-3 win over the Guardians. The rookie, called up from Triple-A earlier that day, joined an elite club of just seven Twins to homer in their debut at-bat—and became the 14th player ever to do so in their first game. The bullpen shut down Cleveland for nearly three innings before A.J. Minter sealed it in the ninth. Despite RBIs from Bazzana, Rocchio, and Kwan, the Guardians couldn’t rally after Aleman’s disastrous relief appearance—hitting a batter with the bases loaded to extend the lead. Cleveland now trails Chicago by one in the AL Central and holds the final wild-card spot by a single game over Toronto, while Minnesota falls further behind. Connor Prielipp pitched five strong innings in his first start since late August, but the Twins’ offense kept the pressure on with key hits from Clemens and Lewis.
