## Resource

A mayoral candidate in North St. Paul is facing serious legal trouble after violating a domestic abuse restraining order—leading to two misdemeanor charges and an extreme risk protection order banning him from firearms. The controversy deepens with his past behavior in a high-profile custody battle, including bizarre emails referencing deadly shootings, which led to a judge declaring him incompetent to stand trial. Despite being discharged from a mental health facility just weeks before filing to run for mayor, Tenquist remains silent on the mounting allegations.
