## Resource

Jamie Rand just doubled down in downtown St. Paul, snapping up two historic office buildings—375 Jackson Street and 135 5th Street—to become the area’s largest private commercial property owner. With a total of 27,000 square feet and connected by a skyway, these mid-century gems are now part of his growing portfolio that already includes landmark properties like the First National Bank Building. Rather than demolish and rebuild, Rand is focused on preserving their character while upgrading interiors, boosting safety, and attracting tenants back to the core. He’s partnering with city leaders and business groups to revitalize the district, drawing inspiration from Nashville’s comeback story—and he’s already got more downtown deals in the works.
