## Resource

An 85-year-old woman in St. Paul turned a terrifying home invasion into a high-stakes escape when she trapped a knife-wielding burglar in her garage by locking him inside—forcing him to flee on foot. The thief, a known career criminal, was soon caught again after crashing through traffic while fleeing in a stolen car, thanks to witness tips and a license plate camera. Found hiding in a closet, he’s now behind bars facing first-degree burglary charges as authorities vow to keep communities safe from repeat offenders.
