## Resource

A Southwest Airlines workaround is making waves right now — Basic flight credits that normally expire in six months may have a surprising escape route that turns them transferable with no expiration. On the credit card front, we break down the top cards delivering automatic airline and hotel elite status, including one that hands you top-tier Diamond status just for holding it. Hotel club lounges are quietly disappearing post-pandemic, and we share what you need to know before your next booking. We also cover jaw-dropping award sweet spots to Latin America starting as low as 9,500 miles one-way, a Rakuten portal offer hitting an all-time high, and a real-world points challenge that reveals some of the most creative redemption strategies in the game.
