## Resource

In the quiet hours before dawn on March 31st, 2017, a young woman's death in a Dubuque kitchen sparked a legal firestorm that would expose the fragile line between tragedy and murder, leaving two families torn apart by grief and a question that refuses to die. With two convictions, a reversed verdict, and a justice system that many believe failed on both sides of the courtroom, the case of Fonte Buo and Samantha Link stands as a chilling reminder that sometimes the most dangerous weapon isn't the knife in someone's hand but the story we choose to believe.
