## Resource

Jeremiah Smith, Miami’s top recruit who never played a game for the Hurricanes, is now a national champion at Ohio State—until whispers explode that he was offered $10 million to transfer back to Miami. The offer, reportedly more than double last year’s rumored $4.5 million, fuels speculation as Miami scrambles to land a quarterback. Smith insists he’s loyal to Ohio State, praising their offensive line and his All-American accolades, but the staggering sum raises alarms about recruiting chaos and financial precedent. For Miami fans, it’s a bitter twist—but they can still savor their own wins, like the Cotton Bowl, while wondering what might’ve been.
