## Resource

Nick Richards, a seasoned NBA big man with over 100 starts and elite rebounding stats, surprised everyone by signing a non-guaranteed $3.1M deal with the Miami Heat — a move that’s really an audition. With training camp looming, Richards must prove his value as a gritty, energy-driven backup to Bam Adebayo, focusing on hustle, boards, and screens rather than flashy plays. If he delivers, his contract becomes guaranteed — turning this risky gamble into a lucrative payday for a player who knows his worth and is ready to earn it.
