## Resource

John Konchar, a 30-year-old free agent guard, chose the Knicks over the Heat—despite Miami’s interest—on an Exhibit 9 deal, signaling a shift in NBA priorities. With the defending champs building their roster and Miami struggling to retain elite talent, Konchar’s move underscores New York’s resurgence as a player magnet. He’s betting on himself in a high-stakes environment, proving that even veteran role players are now chasing culture over comfort.
